In Tune

Dedicated to you, the dreamer who does not dare to fly because you think you’re not capable. To you who can’t find the way to undo the ties that hold you down. To you who carry the heavy baggage that life has given you and you just feel you have no more strength.

Take my hand, count on me.

At a very young age I discovered my love for philanthropy. I love making people around me happy and helping those who are in need.

One of the experiences that marked my life’s path and outlined the direction it would take occurred when I was approximately 10 years old.

My father suffered a nervous breakdown caused by high levels of stress and insomnia. His health deteriorated day after day for a period of 9 years until the day we said goodbye.

Being so young I didn’t really understand how he could’ve let that happen. How could such a strong and intelligent man lose control of his mind?

Over the years I understood that taking care of our mental health is an everyday job. I understood how important it is to take control and stay in control.

Maintaining control has been a task that I practice each and every day. I look for the best way to dance around daily difficulties and try not to take them to bed with me so they don’t affect me emotionally and physically.

I have learned so much along the way. I believe is time to share.

My mission and purpose in life is to share everything I have learned while putting my gifts to the service of those who need them the most; educating, supporting and empowering.

Finding purpose in life has become a true mission for me. Embark on this read and discover some of the coping techniques and tactics I have learned throughout my life.

“The greatest success is to believe in yourself with all your might”

~ Jessica Taggart

Tune into your heart frequency

When we are in tune with our hearts frequency and don’t let interferences distract us, we commit to listening to its melody. We live it, we breathe it, and we dream it. We see our purpose manifest itself before our eyes.

The question is, how do we tune into our hearts frequency?

1. First of all, find at least one reason to be grateful each day. Say it out loud or write it down and make it a daily habit. Focus on the blessings you already have and not on the ones you yet to receive, for divine time is always perfect. This will help you see life in a complete different perspective.

2. Stay away from situations or people that drain your energy and dim your light. Sometimes I wish I had a magic wand so I can fix all broken hearts, so I can make everyone believe there’s pure beauty and light underneath those wounds. There really is!

Unfortunately, I have come to the conclusion that those who are not ready to heal and find the perfect connection with their creator, will only see shadows until their time to open their eyes and see their light has come . There’s nothing I can do to accelerate the process and I can not continue to hurt myself by someone else’s pain. It hurts way too much.

3. Forgive those who at some point have caused you pain, they were still living in the shadows. Forgive yourself for the things you could have done better and or have failed to do. The past and our mistakes do not define who we are anymore. Forgiveness is a gift that frees your heart.

4. Love yourself. Not breaking the promises you make to yourself is the first step towards loving oneself. Setting healthy boundaries follows. Sometimes it is necessary to say no, and that is okay. This will help you learn to value your time and your contributions. Become your best ally, be compassionate with your processes and allow yourself to feel your emotions. Putting yourself first is not selfish. “Put on the oxygen mask first” If you are well, you will be able to assist those who need you and you’ll see everything around flourish.

5. Mind the words you use to speak to or about yourself and others. All we put out to the world comes back to us in abundance. Positivism attracts positive, negativism attracts negative.

6. Give your mind a break, practice mindfulness. Take at least 10 minutes daily to sit in stillness, Breathe and give your mind a break. Acknowledge your thoughts and give yourself permission to let them go. Recognize sensations and emotions in your body, (DO NOT ATTACH THEM TO ANY STORIES) welcome them, feel them, process them, transform them so you can eventually let them go. Don’t ever communicate to others before emotions are processed. Emotional overcharge can lead to making the worst mistakes.

7. Find a way to express yourself, (expression is the opposite of depression, oppression and stress) Allow your heart to pour out its authenticity into a piece of paper, or speaking it out loud, express through the arts, movement, music… There’s a way for each one of us. Find yours and make it a daily practice so the true you, the perfect you, shares its beautiful light with the rest of the world.

8. Take note of the most precious desires of your heart and take the time to cultivate your gifts (yes we were all born with many unique and special gifts) Remember that life itself is the biggest gifts of them all! We ALL deserve to live our dreams. We were all created to fulfill an important role in this world, so we MUST!

9. Don’t look for others to validate or approve your dreams. You and only you, know what your value and your story is. You and only you have the right to validate and approve your dreams. PS: your creator has signed off on this already. He makes no mistakes, his creation was made to perfection. Do not insult him believing otherwise.

10. Let go of the heavy load of limitations, labels and old unhealthy patterns adopted or assigned to you by life circumstances or the outer world (not you). Let go of the things you can not control, like the past and the future. The present moment does not return, your story is written here and now. live it with intention so you will love tomorrow’s yesterdays. Do not waste the present moment trying to decipher or criticize other people’s lives. Here and now we have a lot to do for ourselves, a lot to improve, a lot to learn. Dedicate your words, your criticisms and your energies to improve your life, thus you will affect those around you in a positive way. Your opinion is only valuable for those who ask for it, or for the one who needs it.

11. Success is not having it all. Success is achieved when you are able to regain your heart and soul’s authenticity and live a better version of your life at ease, in peace and in harmony with yourself. Success is believing in yourself with all your might.

Faithful , daily application of these principles will allow you to take control of your mind, tune into your heart’s frequency and let your soul find its purpose.

It’s YOUR time to fly, Dreamer…
